The Cost of Living Fragmentedā€”And How to Begin Your Integration Journey
Mar 27, 2025
The Fragmentation Challenge
Have you ever noticed how exhausting it is to constantly switch between different versions of yourself?
The professional face that carefully edits out your spiritual insights... The personal self that hides your ambitious dreams... The purposeful calling that feels disconnected from your daily work...
This fragmentation isn't just tiring—it's costly. It drains our creative energy, dampens our leadership presence, and keeps our most powerful gifts trapped in silos that never get to complement each other.
My Personal Fragmentation Story
Before founding SisterTalk Group, I lived this fragmentation intensely. In professional spaces, I carefully packaged my cultural perspectives to make them "acceptable." In personal relationships, I downplayed my ambitious vision. And when it came to purpose work, I struggled to integrate my professional skills with my deeper calling.
The day I began allowing these dimensions to inform each other was the day my work became more powerful. This is why I dream bigger now—because I've witnessed what happens when we refuse the cultural pressure to fragment ourselves.
The lessons and invitations from the Dream Bigger Into Your Purpose program, came from my own integrated experience and the practice of being intentional with my gifts.
Wisdom Codes From Your Birth Year
One of the most powerful transformations I experienced was learning that my birth year contains a wisdom code. Tapping into the intelligence of my cultural inheritance, taught me that my purpose was assigned from birth. Learning about the numerical pattern from the Dagara tradition showed me how my personal essence, professional expression, and deeper purpose are naturally designed to work together.
Through the Cultural Explorer pathway, you'll have the opportunity to discover your birth element and its unique integration pattern.
As you learn, share in the community. One powerful practice I learned from being in the SisterTalk Circle is that everyone on this journey carries some sort of wisdom.
“Our bodies carry cultural memory that our minds and society may have forgotten. Listen to both and trust your intuitive intelligence as your inner guiding system.”
I’ve always wondered about my cultural origin story.
It's not the one we’re taught in schools, where I was conditioned to say, “Christopher Columbus discovered St. Lucia.”
The truth is that narrative was more pronounced in my life than the narrative of “How and where did the cultural wisdom passed on from my grandparents to my parents and where I come from?”
I wasn’t encouraged to ask or explore those powerful questions.
When I first traced my roots to West Africa and discovered ancestral and Ancient Knowledge Systems and frameworks that supported my whole-self intelligence, I realized how deeply my cultural inheritance valued integration over fragmentation. It felt affirming in so many different ways.
Here’s one of my ancestral intelligence-affirming narratives:
“Our bodies carry cultural memory that our minds and society may have forgotten. Listen to both and trust your intuitive intelligence as your inner guiding system.”
Yet modern systems had taught me to separate parts of myself that were meant to work together.
Building community represents my dream of creating spaces where we can courageously challenge that fragmentation. We can imagine and develop new ways of being that honour our intelligence.
To me, dreaming bigger means practicing whole-self integration—creating containers where cultural wisdom helps us remember our wholeness.
I am looking forward to meeting you and seeing the practice of you in our Community.
With curiosity, compassion, and courage for your journey.
